the news was reporting that the capt was in his 50's, 55 i think, with around 5000 hours. The first officer/co-pilot was 30 and had 600 hours. No report of time in type or recency of experience though.
 
The NTSB reported today that the aircraft was travelling 90 degrees to the approach end of the runway and crashed in a steep descent.
