Happy New Year's Express Jet Pilots. Keep your heads high guys and girls, it can't rain all the time and we've just gotta try keep the negativity and worry out of our lives, it'll make all your hair fall out and take years off your life. I'm in training here now (got my oral next week, wish me luck) and I just wanted to tell all of you that ya'll are a great bunch of pilots and i'm looking foward to getting that PC done so I can join you out on the line. I actually had a class date at Pinnacle (cancelled then recalled) and I turned them down just for an interview here, even w/ the current poker game bull$hit that CAL's playing here, I'll never regret telling Airlink no.

For ya'll flying tonight, thanks for all the hard work, ya'll make this place what it is.
For those of ya'll off tonight, party carefully.

Looks like Continental will be taking as many of our planes as they can, as soon as they can, and giving them to Mesa, *************************s, or whoever. 14 months from now I'll probably be struggling to hold EWR reserve FO and making 10% less after we take the inevitable paycuts. This place will be a 10 year upgrade if it even still exists in 10 years. If I were you I'd go ahead and take this job but keep the resume polished.
