Hey all... I'm a BIG guy... right at 300lbs... I haven't seen any kind of weight guidelines for obtaining my PPL.
I know a C152 is out, and have pretty much planned on doing my instruction in a C172 or equivalent.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

Ron

Cool deal... thanks... I figured I would, but wanted to know if there were any issues I hadn't heard/read about...

Thanks again!

Ron

I did ALL of my private and commercial training in a 172, for the same reason you are. You will have no problem with it, and as far as I'm concerned, the training will be better. At least you have a little room to move around and dont feel like you are flying in a sardine can. It just costs a little more, that's all.
