PlaneDoctor, Also check out aircraftmechanic.org. It has structure similar to your website. The one thing I've noticed about all A&P forums, is that they do not stay very active.

the-mechanic.com is also another aircraft mechanic site. Main focus on union issues amongst the majors. I've posted some, but its highly moderated and the structure is kinda crappy. No topics and you can only access posts a few days old....
 
Thanks...I dont think I had seen aircraftmechanic.org before. Your right about forum posting by mechanics. I am trying to build a more content rich site then just forums. Time will tell.
