Website Application or Mail?

Looking at sending my resume out to other carriers. My question is, is it unwise to submit via a company's application on their website, or send them a resume via mail?

send, fax, email, website - all four if available and then update about once per month unless they have other updating guidelines. Don't forget the best way if possible have a friend walk it in.

Any CHQ fo's on here who would like to walk in a resume for a fellow 121 FO? I am trying to switch carriers in the hopes of not commuting anymore ... want to be based in ORD.
