FYI for all those who watch the Weather Channel. I saw a clip this morning on Good Morning America about an ex-anchor, Marny Stanier, who after 16yrs. of service with the Atlanta based company was allegedly "fired" for not conforming to the Weather Channels' "dress code" of the younger anchors. Ms. Stanier is filing an age discrimination law suit on her behalf. Stanier states that her boses told her that they are re-vamping the channel toward youner anchors for younger viewers....Nice to see what 16yrs. of service gets you these days...looks like Employer loyalty is low across the board, and not just in aviation. (And people wonder the post office has such a bad rap?)...lol

I assume you mean employER loyalty. Yep - it's going the way of secure pensions and domestic manufacturing - A-WAY! Have always worked as a direct employee with "major" manufacturing companies. Recently, with all the loss of freedoms and perks of working direct, I have been eyeing contract jobs for their flexibility and other benefits. The loyal employer is rare these days. Thank the world economy and increased competition. The upside is being able to buy a DVD player for $39 at Wal-Mart or buying gasoline for what is still a bargain price (adjusted for inflation and changes in spec).

One day I watched the weather channel, and I saw a blonde who actually was not pregnant :)

I find that SO hard to believe.....

But, Kristina.............................. :D

Kristina...

She's slipping a little, but still hot!!

Excuse me, I need to go, ahem... take a shower.

414flyer. ROTFLMAO!!

I hate the weather channel. Living in the midwest and trying to get a peak at a radar shot before departure is impossible. The only areas they focus on are the Northeast. When they do show the weather for my area, its usually the little cartoon looking clouds and sun, with no detail. Thank god for internet and FSS.
