"Southeast Airlines is more demanding and exacting in our maintenance of the fleet, exceeding industry standards and always in compliance with FAA regulations"

Interesting, if only it was true...........

Wealthiest pilots....

Is there such a thing anymore?
Yes, it's all relative. If all but one pilots has an outstanding student loan amounting to 50,000 dollars and the remaining pilot has a net worth of 1 dollar, I suppose he could be considered the wealthiest.

I think he was referring to Microsoft Flight Sim where that picture was taken from.

I may be wrong there young one.

Exactly, which is why I was puzzled by an airline using a MSFS photos on their website. Again.... WTF is up that! Kind of cheesy don't you think?

This is my favorite part of the site. The legal rambling which states that pretty much if they lose or damage your baggage and its contents, you wont be getting any compensation, BECAUSE....

On domestic flights, total liability for reasonable, provable damages for the disappearance of, damage to, or delay in delivery of a passenger’s personal property in Southeast’s custody, including baggage, is limited to $2,500.00, and there is NO LIABILITY for the following items:

currency, eyewear, photographic/electronic equipment, supplies, media and peripherals; musical instruments; ornamental items including jewelry, wigs, wig boxes, furs, antiques, artifacts, silverware, timepieces; artistic items and works of art, including paintings, prints, rugs, and statuary; cameras and related equipment and supplies; recreational items including sporting/camping goods/items/equipment; mechanical items; negotiable instruments or papers, securities; paper items including decorations, manuscripts, books, personal papers, publications, and business documents; perishable or edible items; light sensitive materials including film and x-ray plates; precious metals, samples, animals, fragile items and other similar valuable and commercial effects, and all medicines, drugs and toiletries.

In case you're wondering, each one of those dark pieces of metal is worth about 10,000 dollars...at least this month. If our gold digging corporate flight attendant can find a pilot with necklace full of those...then she's found her man.

Southeast Airlines

I used to work the gound handling for Southeast as a contractor. I think the main reason they used the flight sim picture is probably because their pilot have never made a landing anywhere close to that nice! That and that the plane is actually white in the picture! I had to laugh at the comment about their maintenance above. I lost track on how many flights were canceled/delayed/turned back because of the "great" maintenance on those planes. I remember one time the gear wouldn't come up so they bolted it down, and flew it over 2 hrs with a full load of passengers at like 200 knots to get it jacked up to figure it out. Those planes are falling apart so much that the company bought another boneyard one just to rip it apart to fix the one they had. Basically, combining the inexperienced crews and the aircraft and equipment conditions the place is a death trap. That's my opinion though and why I left. That and the management of the contractor and the airline had the "It's gonna be done no matter what" attitude. Hope this convinces some of you not to fly on it and to tell others not to.

OK I'll bite, what the heck are those? I'll venture my guess... registered HK sears? They look too big to be RDIAS for colts. $10K is about right for most sears these days.

You know what Swede, I'd be lying if I told you I knew for fact they are HK sears. The picture has been circulating the net on both Uzi Talk and Subguns. They are transferables...so said the poster on Subguns, they could be FNC sears for all I know. It was implied that most if not all were HK sears though.

The closest I ever got to an HK sear was last year when I decided to sleep on the thought of purchasing one from a classified add offering three of Tim Lafrance's trigger packs for 5,500 bucks. Add placed on saturday, all three were gone to the same buyer by sunday. Snooze and loose.

But anywhoo...gold diggers don't know it's not bacon.

I'm not sure why she mentioned she was "gold digging" and wanted a wealthy pilot. I don't honestly feel there is such an animal.

Like SWAf/O said...they are prolly the one's who are smart enough not to get married or choose to stay with the original wife so they can live in comfortable misery...and just f*ck around on the side. JMHO
I hear ya, I would think a gold digger would use her head and go down to DMV, buy a listing of all the Humvee owners in the state and then start chasing those guys down. In fact, maybe she'd meet more gold if she went to work at a dealership that sold them...or got into selling real estate.
