To start, I do not work for MESA.

To those of you that do not work at MESA. GET OFF THEIR BACKS!!!!

If you do not like your current contract, or the one that you just signed, it was not MESA's fault.

YOU GET WHAT YOU BARGAIN! Plain and simple. IF your contract is garbage its because YOU, yes YOU sold out for something less than what you wanted! It was not MESA's fault, it was YOURS and nobody else.

As far as I have seen nobody has held a gun to anybody's head and forced them to vote for a substandard contract. If you signed, you agreed to it!!!!!!

Get off MESA's back. The only ones that have any right to protest that contract is MESA pilots.

The rest of you are using them as a kicking post shows your complete lack of respect for yourselves. You have to blame anyone else for your problems. Get over it, grow up, and get on with your live.

Tired of hearing a bunch of pansy-assed pilots crying about somthing that if none of their business to begin with.

Think they lowered the bar do you? If so, only for themselves. If your contract is up for negotiation, you will decide where the "Bar" is for yourself.

The rest of you..... GET A LIFE!

Whoa there. I think it is valid to say that what a group of about 1,000+ pilots agree to is going to affect the rest of the industry. They are setting the tone because, as JO stated they are one of the world's fastest growing airlines. I think everybody else has a legitimate gripe as Mesa is indicative of what the future holds. Just curious, is your airline currently in contract negotiations?

Mesa Bashing

Personally I find all the bashing rather hilarious. It only shows the ingnorance of those that don't want to confuse the facts with their emotions.

Both posts above have a point---it's our problem and it's the industry's problem. What people fail to realize with our contract is that we were dam*ed if we did and f**ked if we didn't. We voted yes and got a lousy contract. Everyone hates us. Had we voted down the contract Freedom mostly likely would have grown to epic proportions and shut down Mesa. Then the precident would be set for management to succeed in busting an airline into non-existance. Almost every other CEO would try it as evident by CHQ. Then everyone would hate us.

Either way no one likes us. Oh well. I keep tabs on other airlines but I do let it ruin my day at work or bash other pilots for the decisions they make. Unless however they are on my Freedom list.

-Just giving my two cents, I'd like to get my change now.

Its morons like you that keep us in the stone age.

If MESA doesn't affect anyone else than why has the management of 1/2 a dozen other regionals come to their pilots worried that they could not compete with the wages and productivity of MESA.

I suggest you dial 877-MESA-CEO and listen to how JO says they would NOT have growth if it were not for the pilot contract. Growth that has cost other pilots wages/ work rules and jobs.

If there were no other impact of the MESA contract on anyone other than the MESA pilots than they wouldn't be taking so much crap.
