I thought I remembered that what sent Wolk over the edge was a few folks saying that Wolk had crashed some old, surplus jet trainer, then sued the company that made the fuel controller? Anyway, Wolk was pretty incensed that folks implied he was actually at fault, when they had no direct knowledge of the facts of the accident.

Yes, that was a big part of it too, the "butt nugget" guy was just caught in the vortex.
