From back in the days of hauling people to the Lodge Of The Four seasons-that's why the IATA code is LOF.Lake Of The Ozarks-waterski !
 
Actually, the ICAO code is LOF. The IATA code is 9N. But a good explanation of the origin of the callsign. I remembered it had something to do with Lake Of The Ozarks.
