Anyone know what the going rate is for a complete wash job on a Falcon 10/Lear 35 size aircraft? Would include a complete scrub down with polish, degreasing, interior shampoo and carpet cleaning as well as leather scrub down with cleaner and conditioner. Any numbers would be appreciated.

Depends on where you are

As with everything in this biz, depends on where you get the work done. Detailing/wash jobs vary as much as fuel prices around the country.

"wash job on a Falcon 10/Lear 35 size aircraft?"
--------------------------------------------------------

Wash....$175
Wax......$500..(Buff $1250)
Interior.$375
Carpet..$125
=====
total $1125 or 1925

add $500 on for bright work

Hire me on as a FO and I'll keep it up for cost of salary flying.
:D :D :D you'd have the nicest looking plane on the airport. I've got line guys who say they can tell which ones my Mrs. and I keep care of.

These numbers are used in my business and found them to be within $100 to $150 accurate of most...but they where developed pre-9/11/01 when everything was roaring. Since I told the insurance company to screw themselves I don't have the over-head of insurance. BUT the labor on that job with bright work would be around 24 hours. Real world numbers would be around $900 for interior/wash/hand wax and about $1000 depending on how bad the bright work is.

I can't stand to clean them but clean them like I'd fly it tomorrow.

Wash $175.00
Wax $500.00
Interior $375.00

Stacked Hottie is a skimpy thong doing the work..........Priceless!

(If that happens you had better take pics!)

What I believe he meant is don't whore yourself out and lower the wages for the rest of us.

Ahhh... ...well you all can rest easy tonight. I'm not getting paid to be laid. Can't find it either way.

It's Andy after an Ole Miss frat party. Actually its William H Bonney, Billy the Kid.

Oh god, not the "I'll do ANYthing to fly cool jets!" attitude! Please please PLEASE not that!

Sure, we've all been there, wanting a job so bad we could taste it, but geez, this is a career, not a hobby. Demand the pay that your flying skills and knowledge command, and if you wanna wash the airplane too, that's cool, but make sure you get paid for it!

Sorry, little touchy, I watched this attitude kill the value of an airline career before my very eyes, which is why I'm now looking to go corporate. Please don't ruin corp. aviation too!

Or, maybe you were just joking. Hope so!
;)

Gotta agree with Stearmandriver. Don't wash the bosses plane for free just to sit right seat and touch the push to talk. Please! As much as this will displease G200 and some others we wash our planes as well but we charge accordingly. Do so.
