Any body have any leads, 1/2 scale 3/4 scale replica's? Seem i have seen them and have searched the net but no good leads.

There was a scale Spitfire in the replica fighters area at Airventure last year that drew a lot of attention. They had brochures they were giving out, so I think it was, or will be, a kit. It was very impressive because the engine fit in the cowl which is what usually destroys the lines of a scale fighter. I think EAA could help track it down.

There's a yahoo group:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RFAprojects/

and a facebook page:http://www.facebook.com/pages/Replica-Fighter-Association/259427687401977?v=info#info_edit_sections

W.A.R replicas is still in businees I think. They have the popular WWII fighter kits in 2/3 to 3/4 scale. This is not a recommendation though. I haven't heard good things about them so do some research.
There is also some WWI models out there that appear to have a following. I want to say "Dawn Patrol" is what the kits are under, but I may be way off on that one.

There is real nice Storch replica out there too. I think its produced in Australia though. Shipping cost could be a few bucks.
