You are correct in noting that the person in the right seat is indeed the captain, on our training flights he's up front for takeoff and landing and during cruise the other student gets up front so the two of us can work on multi crew procedures and CRM.

Ummm..hmmm.... So the two 315 hour guys are flying, and the captain is in the back having some peanuts. Where is this operation located, so I can keep clear?

Ever hear of a CPT? They work good for learning crew procedures, and it's much safer and cheaper.

Insurance

I cant believe their insurance providers would allow that. I cannot believe the FEDs go for that. I cant believe the instructor would go for this. How can the captian log this time and how can this count as dual given from a guy in 1C. Hey, I am all for shortcuts but am I missing something here? I have never heard of this before. Man, I thought our training dept was thrifty.

Confused and slightly frightened Pickle

While I'm sure a CPT works fine, flying in the plane allows us to gain real world experience.

The two nimrods in that avatar are frightening, even in a CPT.

Come on guys, it's got to be flamebait. No one can be this much of a dork.

It IS flamebait... Anyone remember Gulfstream4ever? That was my first throught when I saw this guy. --------Hey barnyard! I think that you have the only evidence that TheGuat was here!!:D

Hey I've got one! I used to have this great piedmont hawthorne one which disconnected and all and then it got stolen and replaced with a crappy US air one....

Yea, it was a great piedmont hawthorne one until it got stuck on the beech 1900 cargo door and i was nearly hung... Then it broke so I got the joy of chasing it into the ILS restricted area

Tower: Umm Colgan can you explain why your agent just ran into the ILS restricted area?

You could always steal one of those cute UM lanyards with the puppy dog prints on them if your desperate.

TabExpress, I think your hats on backwards.

Why buy a lanyard when you can get the PHL hub or a wholly owned carrier they have for sale? Uair also has a bunch of planes rusting in the desert I bet they will make you a great deal on.

TabExpressF/O,

Do you want to gain real world experience? Go fly a for a 135 unschedule freight company. Thats real world experience.

While I'm sure a CPT works fine, flying in the plane allows us to gain real world experience.

OH MY GOSH.

TabExpress FO you are this year's winner of the TOOL OF THE YEAR AWARD. Is your quote straight out of the shiny brochure that they sold you this crap with?

Your Avatar, "FO in training"; classic TOOL trademark.

I guess I need to change my Avatar to read "777 FO in training"

I REALLY, REALLY HOPE YOU FIGURE SOME SH$T OUT REAL QUICK. I'M PULLING FOR ALL OF MY FLYING BROTHERS OUT THERE, BUT MAN, YOU HAVE TO HELP YOURSELF FIRST.

Tab

You're a tool because you're a LOSER and don't know it.

Come on now.. You can't be that stupid, can you??

Look F/O, when you get out into the "real world " of aviation you will realize that everything these people have been telling you is true. Aviation in general is a very small community who never forgets anything. You may just be here in this forum stirring up trouble, but if you are not, you need to cool off, becasue a lot of these people who you are talking harshly to may one day may be behind the table at your airline interview. And hey, don't think when they see how your time is logged they wont remember Tab F/O on this forum, becasue they will. If you are for real, watch watch you say and who you say it to. Never burn any bridges in this business. My 2 cents.
