Since you are not getting interviews I would say that your resume needs revising. Go out and get a book on resume writing, or seek the services of a professional resume writer.

Looking for dispatch opportunity

I have applied at most of the regionals and majors. Do you have any contact information.

Well, I can tell you right now, that you aren't gonna get on with a major- they are looking for 5-10 years experience dispatching, etc. etc., etc.

Are you willing to relocate?

I know we are looking for dispatchers at 9e and have told my manager about your resume being posted here.

good luck.

Arthur, since you're in Wichita, have you applied at Ryan?

Air Midwest (also locally) has a high turnover so they're nearly always hiring.

I would change Nebraska University to University of Nebraska. The way you have it now makes it seem suspect to being a fake degree. I believe you, as your name appears on the alumni page for UNO aviation institute.

Also, taylor your resume to each job posting for each airline. I.E. your objective should be clearly directed at the company you are applying for. Also make sure your cover letter is well crafted and does not appear like a "canned" letter.

Don't stress too much over it. During the winter months, October-February, all the airlines dramatically slow their hiring. You probably aren't going to hear from a major right away and most majors hire from within first anyhow. The regionals have just begun to accelerate their hiring again. Be sure to update your resume if anything has changed, and you will probably hear from a regional in the next 2-4 months.

I guess the mirror ball was just a matter of time.
Is there music to go along with it to drive everyone crazy?
I can just picture MOC droping an F bomb when they saw it and running out the door to go smoke.

Yeah, they play music - circus music. It's professional. But hey, we're just a bunch of overpaid, expendable warm bodies in there, so who cares?

Try the Frax. We all have a pretty healthy turnover rate. The pay is better than most cargo and regionals and the work really isn't too bad
