It's not the voltage that makes you crap your pants, it's the amperage.

I have been stueck by lightining while enroute several time. Lost my hearing and sight temporaily and lost a radio, attena, and the radar in one shot but never crapped my pants

Me too

I too have been struck by lightning many times and now I can't seem to log off

I think you are still suffering from the effects

Chances are, he crapped his pants and just didn't know it...not that there's anything wrong with that.

And I keep promising myself that I will no longer post while drunk

Man, and it just keeps taking hit after hit after hit.........

The Perfect Storm?

I was hit by lightning coming out of Chicago not to long ago. I didn't crap my pants either but I was poop-in out a bunch of sheep fur later on.

That is a really neat picture.

Got struck by lightning in the 727 once, we took a direct hit to the radome during climbout. It didn't do any damage but it scared the bajeezus out of me.

Took a hit in a T-38 once. Some portion of the charge traveled through the ejection seat, through the lap belt, into the harness buckle, and thence via my privates to some unknown destination. It hurt less than it sounds, but it got my attention.

Later, I was thankful that the bolt didn't activate the ejection sequence, firing the seat motor, or worse do it all out of sequence, like seat kicker first, followed by the rocket motor, with no canopy jettison. THAT would be grisly.

I've been struck n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-nine-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-te-e-e-e-e-e-e-n-n-n-n, nineteen times and wasn't affected at all!!!!!!!
