If not, then TAKE THE D@MN ALPA AGE 60 SURVEY ALREADY!!! So far senior guys at majors have been taking this survey at a much higher rate than younger regional folk. There is only 4 days left to complete the survey. If you are too lazy or apathetic to do this then YOU DESERVE 5 MORE YEARS IN REGIONAL HELL! Rant over.....

Sent mine in, does not take that long!

It won't change the outcome.

Polls are nice, but all you have to do is look at politics to find their worth.

do you have to b ALPA to take it? I assume so but I'll take it if I can.

self serving interest at it's best. If someone is safe to fly until they are 65 then so bet it. Sorry if that holds your career back a couple years. I'm sure the 59 year olds have more than earned the right to keep pluggin away for a few more years.

Yea the same guys that screwed us want 5 more years to do so. Now ain't the time. Wait 15 or 20 more years then maybe, lets just get out all those who sold us down the river!

Yeah because the older generation has done wonders for the industry by continuing to get theirs. The development of the B-Scale was a nice add on also. Oh and lets not forget about them being to good to fly "RJ's" and not putting them all on the same seniority list!! GREAT and because of all the hard work they have done we should change the rules that we all signed up for and allow them to Get Theirs once again while we puddle around here in the B-scales for a few more years. Awesome!!!:puke:

Oh look did you see that??????

That was the older generation throwing the younger guys under the bus again!!!!!!!!!!!!:angryfire

Let the same baby-boomin' folks that gave us the B Scale, crappy probationary pay, allowed small jets to be flown at the commuters and enjoyed seniority advancement their entire careers because of mandatory retirement at 60 another 5 years to work at the top of the list? I don't care who you are or how long you've been in this industry, you don't "deserve" anything...especially another 5 years at work if it comes at the expense of my career expectations.

Pensions go *poof* and now the big push from older pilots to work another 5 years? Oh - I see what you did there. You want to take money out of my wallet and put it in your own? That's all well and good...just drop the AARP age discrimination bit and claim your greed. Tell me why you want those 5 years, tell me why you need those 5 years, tell me why you are more deserving of career continuance than I am of career advancement...just cut the crap and be honest about it.

Take the BRP survey, contact your MEC/LEC reps, send an email to Capt. Prater. Age 60 is toast, there's too much momentum toward change to stop it now, but what we can do is make our collective voice heard such that the change is as "fair and equitible" toward us younger pilots in ALPA as it would be toward the older pilots.
