Management needs to hear how we really feel sometimes. Glad Wally made his feelings known. Hopefully, airline management will wake up and listen more intently to the concerns of the people who make things go - the PILOTS. And we need to have the fortitude to make our concerns known. There are more concerns everyday in this stripped down, bare bones airline environment. Safety has no price.

Yup. Truth be told, management is management because they can't do anything useful other than "boss" people around or play pretend grown up. In CRM terms, it's called "insecure authority".

When I was in college I saw the "management" types that went to business school in droves. They weren't good in math, couldn't understand science, and didn't have the talent for anything artistic, so it was the only thing left.

Truth be told, if you can balance your checkbook, and understand the most basic human nature, you will do OK in business. No degree needed.

I wouldn't trust them to run a lemonade stand (if/when they ever sobered up) and mostly have zero respect for them, with the sole exception of the accounting types.
