Just got an email from HR,
Next class is PROBABLY in Sept.

As of now, nobody offered a job has to interview again.

Yo will be called in order of your class date---April28th class is first ect......

I've heard rumors of a class as early as July, or as late as September. It's probably not set in stone. Could come earlier, could come later. Just depends on how they modify ASMs and how attrition factors in. With the seniority list coming to a dead stop for a while, there might be some junior guys hopping ship to go to places like Cathay and Emirates. That could speed things up.

As for re-interviewing, that's not really their style. I wouldn't worry about having to re-interview, even if the wait gets extended for a while. Once you're approved, I doubt they'll change it, because all approvals come directly from the VP level before you're even called and offered the job.

I am in the 04/07 class and the instructors are saying no july class, maybe september. Same info as the e-mail sent to those swimming in the pool.

I interviewed in August 2003 and was offered a class in October of 2003. That class was subsequently cancelled, and I was in the pool until April 2004 with no further interviewing or paperwork.

Past performance is not a guarantee of future performance but that is how Airtran has handled things in the past.
