Is anyone out there familiar with Angel Flight or any similar organizations? I had a customer ask me for any available information today. When my client called to ask for information, the Angel Flight organization responded by saying that in order to volunteer you need to submit an application along with $50. He is not interested in being a pilot volunteer, but rather participate on the business end of the operation. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the laugh. Very valid point. Maybe he should try the commuters or a fractional company:p

Check out the link below. I use my Cherokee to fly volunteer "missions" for Angel Flight. Its a good way to play pretend 135 and its legal, plus your doing it for a good cause. I recommend it for people who are competent and current/ not just one. Your taking some stranger in your plane you'd better be on top of things IMO. PM me with any ?s.

PS-I never paid an admission if thats what your wondering.
