VA will make it or not, and that is our fortune (or not). As a twenty airplane operation, I doubt it truly impacts you. So, just as a suggestion, how about you try and manage your own group's issues and not spend the effort to make what has already been a tough road for most, even tougher.
Skipper
You first.Bottom line...no union, ********************ty wages, trying to undercut everyone else...please go away ...THANK YOU!
Anyone else see the irony of watching jetBlue folks bashing Virgin America.
You should know, you worked for both.
How's things?
New Business Plan: Smile your way to the Top!I for one am very happy for VA...Funny how a new upstart can out do all the crappy old airlines from years past. But, it can not be hard to give better service than UA, AA, DL...etc...all you need to do is smile. Then you WIN! The legacy companies could learn something about customer service from VA. Congrats to the guys and gals there! Well done!
Oh, and VA did lose the battle to keep the data from the DOT. Be interesting to see what the financials are.
Yes and may you receive ten times that which you wish on others!New Business Plan: Smile your way to the Top!
Yep. Just a short time before they're taken to the landfill and tossed on top of the still-warm Skybus corpse.
Just workin' with the facts, ma'am.Yes and may you receive ten times that which you wish on others!
Well may that fact be on your house first!Ahole.Just workin' with the facts, ma'am.
You tell me why VA is going to survive. They're bringing nothing new to the table. They have a very junior pay-roll and they're just another low-cost hack using the backs of the employees to stay afloat.Well may you soon not be working A-hole!
Well may that fact be on your house first!Ahole.
Spin I'm curious, is your support for VX simply based on emotion because you work there and rely on the paychecks, or do you truly believe in the business plan and the product layed out by management. Obviously overall the products is decent, the awards prove that, but do you truly believe in the plan in the face of $150 oil? Other than WN, I don't see how anyone can be assured of their own survival in the current climate. Or option #3, do you think the pockets are deep enough that you will simply be around long enough for a few of your competitors to crumble leaving you guys alone on some routes to raise prices?
Nothing new to the table? We bring everything new to the table you cretin. You tell me why VA is going to survive. They're bringing nothing new to the table. They have a very junior pay-roll and they're just another low-cost hack using the backs of the employees to stay afloat.
Exactly. No one can be assured of their survival. I like our chances and take them gladly. If that galls you,and people like you, so be it! Our business plan is working but it will need investor help. The investors see progress even in trying times but how long that can go on I don't have the answer.
The bottom line is that to revel in anyones demise for any reason may reward you with a similar fate. So flame away but do so knowing it may be at your own peril.
I don't think anyone here is, as you perceive, "reveling" in the potential demise of VA.Nothing new to the table? We bring everything new to the table you cretin.
No actually our plan is to lose all the money there is in the known world that way you won't have any! Then we will be the only one left and of course a ticket from SFO to JFK will cost $100,000...thats one way! I believe we will be able to survive $150-200 oil at that time.Your business plan is working out but you need more investor help. In other words, you are losing money hand over fist and need more money just to stay in business? How is that a business plan? At any point in this whole venture is the plan to actually start making money?
The Common Business practice of "Fake it til You Make It"How is that a business plan? At any point in this whole venture is the plan to actually start making money?
Really!!! You really are pathetic..I believe you said "Yep. Just a short time before they're taken to the landfill and tossed on top of the still-warm Skybus corpse".I don't think anyone here is, as you perceive, "reveling" in the potential demise of VA.
History has shown, paying your employees less than than the competition is no substitue for talent: A la Skybus. And the customers have no loyalty to any one carrier...even if you do have XM this or Wireless that.
My prediction stands: VA is not in the right position to weather this Sh*tstorm. Sorry brother.
