Anybody heard anything about Virgin America recently. Seems uncharacteristiclly quiet for a Branson operation.
 
He's probably trying to figure out what someone will accept to fly a shiny new jet, and researching if he can get an FAA exemption to fly them solo on routes less than 2 hours.

Branson is more concerned with getting in the papers and making headlines than competing in the money losing US airline environment.
 
i heard that it's on hold.... no one will give him the required equity he needs from domestic investors..... I wonder why????? in this sh1ttty environment no one will invest in another airline.... oh yeah, only invest into the bankrupt ones. the federal gov. (uncle sugar) will bail you out if it tumbles.....
 
I thought he was on a trip out in space or something.
