Again....

Despite a near doubling of capacity, unit revenue in the third quarter was up over 75 percent versus the fourth quarter of 2007
"near=doubling" capacity (it was in the high 90 percentile).

75% increase in unit revenue.

Again, more available seats than there was an increase in revenue = not good.

I don't know what's so hard to grasp about this concept.

I think this is where we disagree... The release said unit revenues increased. To me, that means that rasm increased, which means that the actual revenue per seat has increased... Had revenues not kept up with the additional capacity, unit revenues would have fallen.

As you say, *sigh*....

Sometimes there is failure to communicate. I see that occurring here, so I am done...

Just read where Virgin A has to disclose its financial perfomance by JAN 30(YESTERDAY). Anyone seen their financial performance numbers, just curious if they can make money in this market, because everyone else lost last yr except SW.

DISCLOUSURE is the word you are trying so valiantly to grasp.....
