Look where this 747 rotated and took off from. An abort would of put him off the runway and into the cameraman's face.

Well his V1 was eons ago. Hard to believe that a loss of an engine would allow them to clear the end of the takeoff surface at 15'. They probably would have dragged the gear through the camera man had it happened.
