Every time I've been there the past couple of months, both Signature and Atlantic ramps have been full.

The majority of airplanes you see at the FBO's are transient and not base operators. Unless you already live in Vegas and have established contacts, you can forget flying for an established operator here. It may be a large town, but it's a tight-knit aviation community in Vegas that looks suspiciously on outsiders because of the transient nature of the overall community.

I have lived here in Las Vegas for 30 years... this used to be an Aviation town.
Not anymore! I would say that 40% of the old corporate flight departments are gone.

The Grand Canyon business is gone except for the "Bug Smasher" helicopters... and they don't really go to the REAL CANYON... Just the west end.

Good luck finding a job.
