Can anyone give me current status of large cabin operators in Vegas that might be hiring? Not only which operations might be looking for a pilot, but more importantly what the quality of life, culture and $ is like at the various operators, even those not hiring...

Any info is much appreciated.

I did a search, but the info I turned up was a year or more old, so looking for current info...

Thanks much.

Bwa...bwaha...bwahahahahaaa. Sorry. Only one large cabin operator in town that I know of might, I say again, might need a pilot next year. Other than that, not so much. And if you aren't already in town or related to somebody that is, good luck with that. Bad juju in Vegas right now, especially when the Socialist in Chief says you can't "blow your money on a trip to Vegas when you should be saving for college."

I was gonna say...I thought Vegas was in worse shape than most places..

And yeah, no more fancy private airplane jaunts to Vegas. Don't even think about it while the GVT is watching their (your) spending so closely.....:erm:

What a joke...a sad joke.

Sorry NetJets didn't work out for you. MGM has large cabin jets but I hear the QOL is horrible.

The bizjet jobmarket in Vegas was a tough nut to crack even in the best of times. Today it's deader than dead.

Every time I've been there the past couple of months, both Signature and Atlantic ramps have been full.

MGM is actually a very good flight department now but unfortunately they had overstaffed and "over-equipped" a bit right before the downturn. As I understand it, they let a handful of people go and sold at least one Gulfstream last year.

That said, the company has stabilized its debt situation and it looks as if they will avoid bankruptcy which is a good thing.

But the original poster asked about operators in Vegas. True, lots of aircraft fly to Vegas, especially on weekends, but that doesn't equal lots of operators and jobs based in Vegas.

I sit corrected. They do have some nice machines...what...G4s, G5s, and is that an MD-80 too?
