Hey ex-Vanguard folks,

I was brand new at Vanguard when the company went under, but I enjoyed my brief stint at Vanguard a lot. The best part of the company was the people there.

Anyway, today, the one year anniversary of the demise of Vanguard, I want to send best wishes to all the ex-Vanguard people out there.

Too bad I missed the party in KC last night.

I had an adult beverage Tuesday in honor of the one year anniversary of the airline's demise. A nicer bunch of professional airline folks and party animals I will never meet.

I'll have a beverage in MIA tonight in honor of all the great people I worked with at Vanguard Airlines.

It was a great place. Best wishes to all ex-Vanguard employees.

I will have a drink for you ex-Vanguard dudes tonight, I did not work for Vanguard, but we did the MD80 training for the Vanguard guys in Long Beach.

I was offered employment by Vanguard in '99. Chose ATA instead, and feel fortunate to still be employed. I wish all the former Vanguard pilots the best of luck.
