This whole thread is going to be a moot point after Nov 1st anyway, as future applicants will have to apply WITH the type.
That will eliminate both the six month issue and the "should I get the type now or later" issue.
It will also take a big burden off the PD's desk.
To those that don't have the type yet or can't get one, apply now if you have the 1000 PIC turbine! You will at least get put into the "interview someday" pile. It's the best company in the world and it's worth it.
