Vacation buy back

Do you ever sell you vacation back to your company? UPS has a buy back going on now and a Captain their will make at just guarantee $30551 a month for selling back just one week of vacation. What do others pay for selling back vacation?

Do you not have anything better to do than to constantly troll the regionals board? I mean seriously. Reserve in SDF can't be *that* boring...

And I would guess most regional pilots make somewhere south of a 12 year UPS CA on the new payscale, if they even do vacation buyback in the first place. I do know a few senior CAs at my company that have taken a week of vacation, gotten 2.5 off with trip touching, then turned around and picked up opentime to credit 150-170 (!!) hours in a month.

yeah dude, it takes me 1.5 years to make that much money. thanks a hole
