Looks like Scabford is off his meds again. But don't worry. Captain Wallach and the rest of the real pilots will take care of you real nice after the merger. Can you say "staple?"

Cracks me up how everyone thinks UAL pilots are so loyal to ALPA. Wallach is a good leader but he could just as easily have a "UAPA" pin with the same effect. No staples needed. DOH

This is from the same guy that said swapa would never staple the Airtran pilot's. I love it!

Yes, it's unfortunately true that the law no longer allows for UAL to truly staple the uSAPa d0uches, but uSAPa is at an extreme disadvantage. They have no money, no experience, and no intelligence. UAL ALPA has virtually unlimited resources to deal with a merger and integration, since the UAL MEC won't have to raise their own funds now that USAirways isn't a part of ALPA. ALPA National can now supply all of the funding necessary to deal with the merger. That gives them a huge advantage that wouldn't have been available if both pilot groups were still ALPA. Sounds like a perfect use of the MCF to me. Throw a few million to the UAL MEC and watch them crush uSAPa in an integration. Pure staple? No, but it won't be pretty for the uSAPa saps.

PCL_128

You are a hypocrite. You paid to fly a beech 1900 for an airline run by a well known scab. After that you go to a regional, then Airtran. Airtran used to be Valujet which hired primarily Eastern scabs. Airtran has obviously changed and there might be very few scabs left, but very few US Airways pilots have ever crossed a picket line. Your career path is not exactly stellar. You don't know the facts of what is going on over there other than your precious ALPA was decertified. It is a lot more complicated than you think. Both sides are wrong and both sides are right.

Don't bother using facts and logic in responding to PFT_128. He is so high on ALPO brand TM Kool-Aid that he does not live in the real world. His is an old timey black and white world in which all ALPO members wear white hats, and all others black.

He will simply pretend as if your comments are not visible on his puter screen. Worst case of self-induced brainwashing I've yet seen.

Azz pal/protector Rez will be in here for you to play with soon enough.

I'm with you 100%!

DOH using the DOH of the west pilots, with the east's DOH "adjusted" to fit in the slots Nic put them...

Oh, and since all that "widebody flying" you brought to the last merger (with what...19 "widebodies"?) was so important for you to protect, a perm fence to keep you off of the 120 or so widebodies (over 80 being larger than anything you own...) UAL brings to the table.

There, happy?

Did you buy your job at Airtrash too?

Are you refering to AirTran, the airline that was ranked Number ONE in the latest national Airline Quality Rankings:

The AQR scores for the largest airlines for 2007 resulted in the following ranking:
1. Air Tran
2. Jet Blue
3. Southwest
4. Northwest
5. Frontier
6. Continental
7. Alaska
8. United
9. American
10. Delta
11. US Airways

Shame on you!

Couldn't agree with you more! We have no right to UAL wide bodies. Those A/C and positions belong to the UAL pilots.

The US Airline Pilots Association (USAPA) Representing the US Airways Pilots Speaks out on Airline Consolidation Rumors Including UAL
Friday May 16, 12:39 pm ET
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Following yesterday’s US Airline Pilots Association Board Meeting, and prompted by increased media attention on a possible US Airways and United Airlines merger, leaders of The US Airline Pilots Association are evaluating the effects that mergers may have on their Company and their Pilots.

“USAPA will not sit back and allow airline environmental changes without protecting the interests of all our pilots,” said President Stephen Bradford. “We will work with our management to maintain our position among those airlines that are financially well-situated, but first things first. The US Airways Pilots will not support any moves towards a follow-on merger until management finishes the job of our last merger.”
With 6.8 billion dollars invested and an ATSB restricted contract, the pilots of US Airways are the single largest investor in US Airways.

Regarding United Airlines, their financial health is a major concern to USAPA. With mounting losses, and a dismal balance sheet, UAL may not be the best dance partner for US Airways,” said USAPA President, Stephen Bradford. “If synergies mean cutting capacity at US Airways while we experience record load factors concurrent with positive industry yields, we simply aren’t interested.”
USAPA represents over 5,000 US Airways pilots in seven domiciles across the United States.

Bye Bye--General Lee

$6.8 billion invested? Whose credit rating saved you from liquadation? What an a$$ monkey.

One of the "easties" at the last brown bag lunch hosted by Parker in CLT asked him if the company wouldn't be better off waiting for UAL to file Chapter 7 and liquidate and just purchase what assets the company needed through the BK courts. I didn't believe it when I first heard it. I really didn't think somone could be so callous and stupid. But there it was right on our company web site. Simply amazing !!! I can't believe what depth these losers would stoop to ,especiallyhaving come so close to filing CH 7 themselves. Really gonna make for a long career having to spend the next 14 years working with "es-oh bees" that have a mindset like that !!

FYI ,the eastie I mentioned above was also very active on the ALPA webboards and was a big fan of decertifying the union. That, coupled with
Bradfords recent press release ,should give you a pretty good idea of their mindset over there... and what we're up against over here.

What did Parker say? It's not really a bad question...
