Not on your life? Dude, I made a killing on it.

Think of this. Buy 5000 shares at $2.45 last week.
Now, sell 5000 shares at $3.45... guess what, you just made $5000 dollars.

The price of the stock is not what's important. If you can get a lot of shares cheap, and you understand your sector, well you can make a pretty good amount of money on any company.

You all should learn to think about the way the market works. If you buy airlines for a long term investment you're an idiot, but if you swing trade you can make LOTS of money.

Everyone should go here and sign up for the stock market simulator, paper trade and educate yourself. We'll never make enough money as pilots.

Oh crap! Its up to $3.75 now! I could have made more. I sold too soon. I only made $5000 and I could have made $6500.

NOOOOOOOOOO!

My point is today United Stock has gone up almost 50% the last time I looked. Many airline stocks have gone up today. There are always cycles of longs and short on stocks. I am sure Airways stock is a good purchase when you ride it up. To simply buy it to hold on to for a longer time is another thing completely.

My point was not to see who would simply buy it, but who is trading it to make money. Cheers to the guy who made 5K!

USair is like a cockroach after the nuke. Dirty, nasty, mean and smelly but still alive.

Grog play with fire. What happen if Grog get burned?
Grog say "Owwwwww!!!"
I've been burned more by the Airline industry than the market.

Sure, anyone could lose and lose big, but if you know the sector, understand the market and are willing to risk you'll be fine.

Fear only comes from not understanding. As a caveman, I fear many things (fire is definitely one of them), and not every trade is a winner, but if you're relying on only your job to make money, you're in big trouble.
