For you USAir guys.... is there any truth that this might happen?

The US Airways pilots union is calling for volunteers to form a strike preparedness committee, but stresses it's only a precautionary measure and no labor action is planned over termination of the pilots' pension plan. Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) spokesman Roy Freundlich said a strike is not even legal
right now, but court proceedings could change this. "We are just preparing for all eventualities," Freundlich said.

I hope management stops fuc*ing with you guys. Its sad to see how greedy some people are. Makes you wonder if thats what it takes to become a CEO of any company..........

Hang in there guys and good luck!

Well after being here for 38 years and only 6 months to go Dave wants to cut my retirement to 17 cents on the dollar, what do you think we will do?

Mobs are you original ALG or are you Mohawk/Robinson, PDT/Empire or Lake Central? O crap forgot PSA too.

o never knew PDT had YS-11's. Guess you learn something new everyday as they say. I thought that Airborne, PBA and several other small operators were the only American carrierrs to use the YS-11.

Not PDT,but PIE the old Piedmont. We sold the ys-11 to the above and also some overseas. I did the training in Egypt for two we sold there in the 70's. Lots of fun at 110 heat.
