But it's not Piedmont, it's Mesa.



Anyone hear if PDT is parking airplanes because of FO shortage?
 
Not only is it Mesa, it's Mesa with an old Piedmont 200. Very Sad. Looks good though.
 
Yes, new paint, probably to cover up the old america west express paint. Doubtful you'll see them in the east anytime soon.

MU2 and EMB170s' avatars are awesome! I'd have to say flying mighty Zepp around on The Starship would have been THE best gig out there period! I love the story about the teenage girl that partied with them on Starship, got stoned, then realized she was like 10 states away, flying to their next gig. Turned out to be some Senator's daughter...She thanked Plant some years later.

Hey EMB170, I have to ask....Was that sweet pic taken while you were on a trip or on a day off? (Wherever it was, nice going!) Enlighten us, would you?

It was WAYYY sexier with an APU. CHEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPAZZZZZZZZZMESA!!

It olny burns abour 80 PPH, and they rip 'em out while flying in the desert? Stupid..
 
Sadly, Mesa's not the only ones to pull APUs out of DHC-8s in tropical locales.

They're just so darned heavy.....

In the 200's it shouldn't matter how heavy the APU is....it is still gonna carry 37 peeps and a good amount of bags!

Atleast they do have it hooked up to a air cart!!!
 
Sorry, I should've been more specific. POS -100s, no APU, no air cart. Tropical locale.

They're hiring though.

ps. whoever decided the DHC shouldn't have a window to open in the cockpit should be shot.

not that we have them anymore, but PDT zfw was 32,400 (hope that sounds right), now our ancient 100's have a 31,400zfw!!! Lucky if we can carry 34 peeps and 35 bags!!

That's how the 200 is now with the new and improved pax weights. :(
 
"New" -100s are up to a whopping 32,000. Think they would install an APU now? Nope.
