USA3000 guys,

What is the average you fly per month. Is you guarantee 70 hrs? Do you usually get pay credit over that?

65hr. gaurantee per mo., hourly rate over that, then 15% bonus over 80. The way we operate it goes like this; Six months a year(high season) for what you are being hired for, you will fly your ass off. The second six months is spent recovering from the first six months. There is open time to pick up too.

65 hour gaurantee is per bid period (28 day cycle, 13 periods a year). That equates to roughly 70 hrs per month at most other airlines that go on monthly schedules.

13 bid period x 65 hrs = 845 hrs per year guarantee

Last bid period (7-24 8-20) 95 hrs pay worked 15 out 28 days 4 days reserve 2 dead heads and 1 cancellation, only flew 67 hours. I had to pick up out of base 4 days of the 15.

This bid period (8-21 9-17) 87 hrs pay, scheduled to work 12 out 28 days, 2 days reserve no dead heads and 79 hours of flying. I had to pick up out of base 3 of the 12 days.

This time of year less open time is available. I tried to pick up more but kept running into 24 in 72.

Pay is block or better, cancellation pay, 1/2 deadhead (limo/aircraft) minimum 2 hrs per flt. If you pick up out of base they will get you a nice hotel. You can trip trade with open time but you must get your own hotel out of base. If you want to work and are willing to pick up time in different bases, to get a better schedule, it is available. Reserve is fairly senior, out of 20 days of reserve I was only used 2 days.

DTW is a junior base. Last bid shows 5 F/O vacancies (out of 11 total F/O positions) in DTW.
