Typhoon,
I gather from your previous post that you think that everyone who watches FOX is stupid. That is quite an insult. Everyone has their choice of where they want to get their news from.
FOX does tilt to the right, While the Clinton News Network (CNN) does slant to the left. Just because they covered whitewater and Monica does not prove anything, they had no way of getting around the coverage.
If you want to call me stupid for watching FOX then go ahead, at least i know that my news does have a right twist on it where you think CNN is straight up and down.

Every time a conservative is being interviewed on Fox, a liberal is also a part of the conversation, either in studio or by remote. This is what is meant by "fair and balanced".

Correspondents like the woman from National Public Radio and the DNC representative (who is also the first female president of Harvard, a very liberal institution) are a part of why Fox isn't really turned to the right, it's merely closer to the center than CNN is.

Since we aren't used to seeing a news outlet that is anywhere near the center, we assume it is a "right wing" news outlet. In truth, we have never had a "right wing" news outlet. If we did, you would have NO opposing viewpoints at all, which would make this nonexistant station the mirror image of CNN.

Timebuilder,
Most of what you say is 100% correct. The only thing that i would disagree with is that we do have a right wing outlet in talk radio, Rush, although a great man and very logical he is very far right.
One other thing for typhoon, there is a great book out written by Bernard Goldberg called Bias. Goldberg is by his own confessions a liberal who worked for NBC and CNN. He discusess how both networks slant their news to the left by weighting polls and not reporting certain news stories. I suggest that you read this book, maybe it will help you to open your eyes.

Rush, although a great man and very logical he is very far right.

In my travels around the country I have heard many who make Rush look like a centrist. That's what I'm talking about. He is the most right-oriented mainstream host, though.

The real right wants to make gun ownership mandatory, and repeal the Federal Reserve Act. While there are some people who, although permitted, probably should not choose to carry a firearm (I'm a big believer in proper training and proficiency) the truth is that the Fed is not in ANY way "federal", it is private, and there are NO reserves. Read The Creature from Jekyll Island to learn about the how and why of our "Federal Reserve System" and who is running it. Ever wonder why we only see Alan Greenspan and no other Fed board members?

Truly, Rush is to the right of Katie Couric, but in the political spectrum, he is very close to the actual center of political thought in America.

Hey, i dont know about you guys but i watch Fox News for the chicks and CNNHN for Rudi!! Oh my is she hot...

Rudi is almost as hot as Cheryl Lemke, on TWC. She used to wake me up for years, now they moved her to some other slot, and have some mindless person in her slot.

Has anyone noticed that Sharon Resultan has succeeded in losing the extra weight that was left over from her two kids?
She just keep looking better and better! :D

Michael Savage is on the right.

He speaks much truth. What happened to defending *our* borders, language and culture.

Brace yourself: I've read Bias. Mr. Goldberg is a man who is miffed about being snubbed by CBS. Nearly all of his statistics came from conservative think tanks...based on surveys taken eighteen years ago. I guess "Bias" is an appropriate name for his book, 'cause it's loaded with it!

If Goldberg is right and the media has a strong liberal bias, why was the media so kind to George W. and so harsh on Gore during the campaign? (I'll give you a hint: which is a hotter story, blowjobs in the White House or a man who can't say "subliminal?")

Now, I challenge you to read Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them by Al Franken. It will open your eyes.

(By the way...I know what you're thinking, but I read Bias first.)

That's the new book about James Carville and Hillary, right?

A lot of it is about Bill O'Reilly, actually. But it also covers Rush, Ann Coulter, Fox, CNN, and a plethora of others.

I'm comfortable with reading a book by a conservative, though. I even read Slander! But I'm betting siucavflight would sooner kiss Chelsea Clinton on the lips than pick up any book by Al Franken.

Poor Chelsea. Did you see how bravely she is fighting her Haagen Dazs addiction?
Hey, she's doing better than I am! :D

(I look at the bright side: not many small planes will stall with me up front...)

I'm impressed, Timebuilder...picking on a young girl. On the other hand, we were all picking on Martha King a while back, weren't we...?

Actually, I'm just a step or two ahead of her, but she has a youthful metabolism on her side, and I don't. She should be doing much better.

I saw her pic on the cover of some scandal sheet at the supermarket. She must be over 165 by now.

Yeah, and those pictures are never edited or modified...

(Was that you I saw reading the National Enquirer in line at Kroger the other night...?)

Maybe the pic was altered.

If she's doing the guy that she had this "honeymoon" with, she should be burnin' that ice cream off by now!!
