High time Falcon guy for Apr flew 110 hours, which is 55 over guarantee, at about $100/hr.

just returned from 15 days off in ZLO

Pplus he sold 9 days for a 36 hour credit for picking up open trips, so his total pay is 146 hours at over $100/hr

Yeah but I bet he will take all of April to recover, thats rough on the ole' body especially doing it on-demand. Up early YIP?

Average age of USA Jet DA-20 Capt 47 yrs old, they are making $70K-$100K, guess what no turnover.

Quite a bit to learn from the older guys usually as well. Look at all the places they fly and experience one could get.

Hi!

I think the official mins are about 1500/500. I'm not sure about competitive.

Keep in mind that last month was atypical, but is does give you an idea you can make more than at the regionals.

Last Jun a Falcon FO made almost $7K in that month alone.

Hi!

Sorry. Bad info. The pilot recruiting situation has gotten much more competitive in the last 2 months.

NEW MINIMUMS:
Commercial-MEL
Instrument-Airplane
You will need STRONG instrument skills, or you won't make it through training. Currently you get 5 sims and your checkride.

Had a guy with 1000/500 for the current class that seemed kind of low time, but workable. When USAJet called him, he had been hired in India as an off the street CRJ captain.
$60+K base
Housing provided for his family
Schooling provided for his kids
Much/all of his salary tax free.

India needs about 11,000 airline pilots in the next 3 years. Last year they produced 150 commercial pilots. 1/2 of their pilot training schools closed this year because virtually all of their instructors had been hired by the airlines.

But still, the training is very good. They really want you to succeed. Sure you have to study and even a study group at night after GS might be a good idea, but still they want you to get training done. They know that it's a demanding job, after all it's not easy to sit in LRD for a week and a half and all of a sudden you go and shoot a VOR/DME to mins into Saltillo. There mighty be a lot of idle time but you have to be sharp when you have to... My longest time between trips was 5 1/2 weeks (In summer luckily, had a nice tan going... ;)), but when you get a trip you have to be 110% focused.

Cheers,
Sunnfun
