I was wondering what the typical hours/month people were getting as an FO on the DA-20 and FO on the DC-9.

I had about 20 last month on the 9. Had some vacation though.

Hi!

I think the historical hours are about 50/month on the Falcon, 40 on the -9. It is highly variable-some months the -9s fly more, some the Falcon. Some people get only few hours in a particular month, others a lot.

Good News at USA Jet

I was told that our business has picked up, and USA Jet is recalling 5 of the 11 or so guys that were laid off in the end of May. They are Falcon pilots.

They start Monday, 8/4.

Actually someone from the most junior class was given full time status too i believe. Leaving 3 more in his class. The one DC-9 guy doesnt really count as the recalls are by airplane and not strictly by senority. Further news... in November, two bids for DC-9 FO's will open, i assume the furloughed 9 guy will take one and the trickle up theory means one more furloughed DA-20 guy will be back full time as his spot will open up....
