do a search ubnder USA Jet and I think you will find this addressed by both commuters and locals. Local make about $20K per year more than commuters because they are home so much they don't mind selling days off. Average USA Jet is gone from YIP 5.5 days per month

Does USA Jet have jumpseat privileges?

As far as I know with NorthWest. But you can also ride on Spirit no problems. Some of the jumpseating pilots at USA Jet also ride on America West down to Phoenix. Don't know if they have an agreement with them though. But soon USA Jet will be CASS, than it's not really a problem.

What is a problem though, is the schedule. As a junior guy on the falcon there isn't really a commutable schedule. You get 10 days off a month, probably in 3-3-4 blocks. The commutable lines (5-5 and 10 in a row) are very few and very senior.

Hope that helps.

Hi!

THey're on the USAir list, among others.

Cliff
YIP

PS-Most of the guys that commute live relatively close to MI (ie: the Midwest). 1 guy commutes out of Sacramento.

I thought the falcon guys were getting more than 10 days off in 28 now...? no?

No, falcons is 10 days off and the -9 is 12 days. During paycuts it used to be 12 and 15, maybe that's where you were getting it from?

I liked your signature, though... :D
