I interviewed with usa 3000 at the end of November and have not heard a word. Anyone else out there interview with them and have you heard anything yet? They are very quiet. I don't even know if they have gotten their cert. yet from the FAA. any info would help.

I heard that they were doing their proving runs about two weeks ago -- PHL - Mexico City.... they should be certified -- the proving runs are the final phase. Also heard they will have slow growth -- having only one or two planes initially. But hey -- slow is much better than no growth!! Best of luck to you!

I saw USA 3000 A320 parked at he intl terminal at EWR this morning. Mostly white fuselage with color, and grey letering.

Hey Browntothebone:

If that's you in your avatar then you're a tool. If that's someone else and you selected that as your avatar then you're still a tool.

No...I was referring to taking the time to photograph yourself leaning out the window giving the "sign of the devil" for the world to see.

That crap makes us all look bad. Look at it again and imagine it on the national news.

Whatever happened to those guys?

Seven and a half years.

Seven and a half friggin' years. You necro-bumped a thread on a scheduled charter airline (otherwise known as a National) in the Majors forum from seven and a half years ago. Either you need to bid a line or find something more useful to do with your hands in front of the computer.

Just in case you are for real - and if so I weep for UPS - USA 3000 airlines is furloughing and downsizing this summer, which could be ascertained by using the search function and only bumping a six week old post in the proper forum.

I wasn't aware they were a major.

Oh yeah...that's my other issue, along with the "swa LOA" thread. Maybe the definition of "major" needs to be redefined...like flag carrier or "has assigned seating" or something...I don't know. But USA 3000 and SWA ain't it.

USA 3000 has a bunch of guys on furlough, including me. Got hired with 12 aircraft and plans to go to 14. 14 never happened, went 12 to 10 to 11 to 9 to 11 to 7 and now soon to be 5. Have heard however that they are having serious crew scheduling issues, so much so that the CEO had to do a carpet dance in front of the chairman of the board.

It's not the sign of the devil. He'd have to have his thumb over his middle and 4th finger for that.

He's actually doing "I love you" in sign language. I think it was to the ramp rat,,, they probably got a room later.

"necro-bumped" I like it.

You're an angry person and I bet your issues don't stop there.

I enjoyed it as well. Not perfect, but day trips were nice, pay was okay, decent benefits and work rules. Got a little bored going to the same few places all the time - I think I did Cancun as much in two years as most pilots would do in an entire career. But if you lived in base, it was hard to beat.

I guess that makes him a tool for having his tie on properly and wearing a hat?

I knew brownonmybone was instuctordoosh! Tell your mom I'll be over next week. Make sure the basement (your room) is cleaned out.

Isn't this the 5th or 6th thread that brown has done this in? When are the moderators going to GIVE HIM A VACATION!!!

Reliable sources have it that the USA3000 of today is not the USA3000 of a year ago. Mr. Steven Harfst, formerly of North American, is the brainiac in charge now. Occurrences of pilot intimidation, union busting and FAR maximum duty days are the SOP now.

Pilots having their luggage inspected by corp. security. "Random" drug tests coincidentally occurring after a pilot returns from a fatigue call. I wish someone could get Geraldo on the case. With Congress and the FAA all over these type of issues, I would love to see Mr. Harfst explain these things to the American public.

Looks like the flamer from Scotland was not to bad after all. Hope it works out for you guys and U3000. Lots of Ex USAIR East pilots decided to stay. I know George S. He was my F/O back in 2001 before he got furloughed by USAIR. What is the latest with his recovery?

Listen Dope,
The guy GS had brain cancer. Why don't you butt out and go back and mind your own business. I guess thats pretty hard when you got tourettes. Its like an itch that you have to scratch.
I would have put you on the ignore list, but I feel sorry for you and your handicap and once in awhile you manage to put out a good post. Its just to bad that you do not believe in a DOH concept within our profession. I guess the PFT generation has a different agenda and have different morals. Just like the Republic pilots that are taking away jobs from pilots with much more time. No outrage. Its just about greed.
Thanks for posting Dope keep taking does meds.
