USAir is in no position to buy anybody!!!...Deferral of 54 aircraft, piss poor labor relations, and cash dwindling down to it's minimum allowable by the finaciers.

Nope, just a pipe dream. Besides, if anybody hates USAir equal to or more than the WEST, it's UNITED!!

Republic Holdings and Rev. Bedford will take over the PHX hub and pilot group. This will give Republic a true footprint as a big airline.

West pilots will be happy, because they will finally rid themselves of the East and merge with a young motivated pilot group with quick upgrades. Not like the Easties that are ready to retire and do not give a hoot about flying anymore.
