Low Timer

Old Fart!
Nov 30, 2001
I'm looking for a place to buy a fairly cheap plastic Dash8 model in US Airways colors. Any ideas?

Thanks, Low Timer
there is a Dash 8 model made by a company called Hobbycraft. It includes decals for Piedmont I beleive, or at least Hensen. Around $30.00. I would just go to a local hobby shop and see if they can get it for you.
Dash model

Correct, Hobby Craft is the company to get it from. It is in 1/72 scale and it comes with the old Piedmont (Henson) colors (aircraft 906HA) the qheen of the Piedmont fleet and Air Ontario colors.

The kit is still available and the part# is HC1341.

There is an aviation store in the mezzanine under the
chicago O'hare Hilton, they have the display models for just about everything, I know for a fct that they have the Dash 8 in USAIR livery I don't know the number but call Chicago info and get the number for the Hilto at the O'hare Airport and they should have it after all it is in their building. The models are pretty nice about a foot long or so, and cost between 20-40 bucks
