Why decide early when you can put it off and see how you feel. Decided at the airport when you are heading back for a recall you have accepted. If it feels right, get on the plane and go back. If it doesn't don't board the plane... drive to Kinko's and fax in your resignation.

No, go to class. Pick up your check, $1500 for every year of service I believe. Get your base and plane assignment. Then decide....

LOL. The first day of being back on reserve would sinch it for me.

Well actually, it would be the first phone call from scheduling. I used to have a seperate cell phone set to a unique ring to deal with the scheduling nazis. My stomach turned everytime I heard it ring because I knew I was going into battle about the contract with the scheduler and I had no idea what tricks they were about to pull.

........Something like that ;-)

I was to be in the class on the 31st. Sent my "wont be there for the 60k pay cut" letter today. Quite liberating actually. I WILL NOT be at the bottom of the list the next time they feel the need to purge.

This seems to be the only way you (EAST) guys can get any seniority with the company!

Best of luck to the remaining Easties. You guys deserve a break. My prayers are with you all.

Blue skies...............................

Hey KFPilot,
