{TOP PERFORMING AIRLINES}
UPS has landed in the top spot as the "Top Performing Freight
Airline" according to Aviation Week's annual list of "Top-Performing
Airlines." UPS beat out FedEx in all categories including operating
performance, strategy/growth, financial health and revenue. Overall,
UPS had a score of 4.33 to FedEx's 3.50. In terms of financial
health, UPS scored a 5.00 while FedEx had a 3.00.

And they say they cant give us a raise... Funny...

That's ironic!

Wow. Congrats, for sure, but I bet management isn't very impressed as they've always maintained they run a trucking company that just happens to use airplanes.

Regardless, nice job!

Another ridiculous thing that UPS did is that once all the airlines started taking pay cuts and concessions after the terrorist attacks on 9/11, UPS issued us all new badges that proudly state "UPS Airlines" but up until that point, the standard line had always been "were a trucking company with airplanes..." Of course we were starting negotiations at that point. In the past UPS had always ignored using the "Passenger Airlines" as an industry standard, for reasons stated above. but now of course, they've reversed thier position... again...

This all sounds strangely familiar. Ahh, that's it. FedEx is doing the same thing! The guys in purple are rooting for you guys!

Maybe it's time for all those wearing brown and purple to park 'em. Wouldn't that make a nice Christmas? Too bad the govt will never let that happen!
