I hate to appear selfish, but, what is the status of American Eagle in regard to UPS and CASS? We are CASS-approved - have we been removed from UPS' list or can we still go?
According to our flight ops website, American can still utilize CASS with UPS. I haven't heard or read anything official from UPS saying that American Eagle is approved as of right now. My best advice would be for you to ask someone on your jumpseat committee as to Eagle's status.

Cass how and where?

What is the process for an airline to get CASS approved? We have kept our "jumpseat"(any seat in C402) open for all pilots of scheduled carriers since 9/11, our jumpseat coordinator has no info on CASS, but would like to get it. Thanks.

I believe someone asked about UPS flight schedules, avail and if AE can ride.

I would call 800-228-crew option 4 then option 1. Speak with someone at the jumpseat desk and see if they can better assist you (current info--cass yes, cass no, schedules and such)

I can only speak for myself--I rarely jumpeat and when I have the crews have all been outstanding. I understand the situation, you can provide but (in the past and temp. with certain airlines) we can not. I want to thank all the folks out there that have assisted the IPA pilots in the past and continue. We are working on the issue.

I look forward to having you on the jumpseat (at 4:30 am)

I got the scoop today from an Eagle chief pilot. Eagle is actually listed in the CASS computers as AA, not MQ or anything else. So, Eagle is still good to go with UPS.
