I have a trip that comes in late Wednesday night next month, to late to make any of the regular passenger airlines.

Does anybody know if UPS has a late flight out of PDX down to OAK or any other bay area airport?

There are no direct flights from PDX to OAK or any other Bay area city. Your best bet would be to go PDX-ONT-OAK. The flight departs PDX at 2110L and will arrive in OAK at 0315L. Call the UPS jumpseat desk at 1-800-228-2739 prompts 4 then 1 for other options or to make a reservation. Best of luck!

There's also a fedex md10 (#1807) that goes pdx-oak. Shows at 8:10, departs 9:10 and arrives at 10:49.

Forgive my ignorance, but do FedEx or UPS have their schedules on the internet so one can plan in advance?

Unfortunately UPS does not. From the IPA website....

[font=arial, Arial, Helvetica]How does CASS work for offline pilots who want a ride on UPS?

As of this time the jumpseat rider will need to call (800) 228-CREW then 4,1 to access the flight schedules. UPS doesn't permit "walk-up" jumpseaters so the offline pilot will have to list in advance. The jumpseater will be met at security by a UPS manager who will escort them onto the property and will then introduce them to the operating crew.
