Was looking for something unrelated on Flightaware and noticed a bunch of UPS flights filing SDMYS1 as their departure. Is this company specific and could somebody explain the difference between a company specific procedure (I remember somebody posting about a company specific approach they had into KASE) and a normal approach.

And people wonder way their is no fraternity amongst pilots, I apologize that my lack of an ATP and professional flying job makes me unworthy of a substantive response to a question on a topic that proved of interest to me.
 
This is merely a SWAG so don't take it as gospel, but it might be one of those new GPS/RNAV departures like the ones down in Atlanta.
 
It is company specific. As far as I know, all the company specific departure routings are a drug deals between local ATC and UPS.
