Could one of you UPS types fill me in on your hub in France?

How senior?
How many pilots?
Which equipment?
How many planes?
How expensive?
Commute paid for or on your own?
Can you live there?
and finally, QOL?

Thanks.

Ask this question again in 3 years, and perhaps you will get an honest answer.

How is that even legal having a CDG "base" ?

Open Skies....it doesn't matter anyway, the French will just surrender and abandon CDG.

OK. Let me rephrase my question in the hopes of getting an informative response.

Even though I didn't say "pilot base", I guess my question implied that. My question is a query about what you refer to as "z" lines, I guess.
Does UPS have a main hub at which it sorts freight in Europe?
Is it possible to get a basic overview of the European flying that UPS pilots do - i.e. equipment, seniority, number of planes?

Yeah, thanks for the clarification. I figured that much.

Plus, you don't wanna spend to much time in western Europe anyway buddy... Seen the exchange rates lately?

Thats what I love about the uninformative posts here,,,,,,hence why this sight has lost credibility....

Z refers to the SDF 757/767 international domicile. They fly both Europe and Asia. Koln is the main sort in Europe. As far as aircraft types, A300, 757/767, and MD11 all have flying through Europe. The junior Z FO on the current bid was hired in July 07. I don't fly Z so that's a quick take.
