We do have cargo fire agents in our Fedex planes- for the lower cargo only. For the upper cargo, the main deck, it is only oxygen starvation that will try to keep a fire out. No agent up there, except for the ONE haz can if you have one. Either way, I am high tailing it to the closest piece of pavement.
Funny thing, at Fedex we all get a Flight Safety report saying they had heard about the UPS flight that had "smoke in the cockpit" and "possibly a fire." I guess someone didn't see the pics!!!!
