I was scheduled to go to 8 school this week, the class was cancelled when they announced the retirement of the 8 and I get to keep my MD seat. Everyone else going to 8 school was in the same boat. We just went back to our old seat, either in the 400 or the MD (we were all victims of displacement)
That makes me happy, nothing against the die hard 8 guys, I just like my cushy 2 man crew with a bunk, good galley, and a nice lav.
