Hey fellas, help me out here.

On the UPS app, there are yes/no checkboxes for the following under the flight engineer written section:

FEB
FEJ
Flight Engineer FEX

When I took the written exam, my score printout said "flight engineer turbojet and basic (FEX)". Am I correct in assuming the FEX is the combined exam, while the "basic only" is FEB and the "turbojet only" is FEJ?

Thanks in advance.......

Ummmm - good question.

Think you're right - FEX is the combined two - and the one you want for the interview. I know for sure it's the one I got about seven years ago for my FE ticket on the 727.

Good Luck

From the latest UPS app window (the one that just closed), has anyone gotten called for an interview? Just curious.

Moose you're correct, FEX is the combined test. (also the one UPS wants)

FEX - Flight Engineer Turbojet / Basic
FEJ - Flight Engineer Turbojet (added rating)
FEB - Flight Engineer Basic
FET - Flight Engineer Turboprop / Basic
FEP - Flight Engineer Turboprop (added rating)
FEN - Flight Engineer Reciprocating Engine / Basic
FER - Flight Engineer Reciprocating Engine (added rating)

Ps. Google rocks! ;)
