The A300 and A310 are tailor-made freighters for regional markets, benefiting from their 222-inch-wide fuselage cross-section, high versatility and low operating costs. The aircraft are in use worldwide with such airline cargo industry leaders as FedEx, UPS, TNT and Channel Express.

A voluminous main deck allows up to 16 main large pallets to be accommodated on the A310 freighter, while the A300F4-600 cargo version carries up to 21 pallets on the main deck. The A300/A310’s spacious lower-deck cargo holds accept the full range of existing underfloor freight containers and pallets – including the industry-standard LD3 containers loaded in an efficient side-by-side arrangement.

The A300F4-600R is one of the world’s best selling freighter aircraft. It has great interlining capabilities – the ideal regional aircraft that also serves as a perfect complement to long-haul freighters. In 2004, Airbus began deliveries of the new A300-600F General Freighter version, with features that include a cargo loading system capable of handling almost every type of container and pallet simultaneously, and a side door at the rear of the lower deck that is sized for loading large items of general freight.
